Jacob Sangild is a Danish expert in learning technology with over 25 years of experience in the education sector. He is best known for his contributions to the field of welfare technology, specifically around health education.

In 2017, Sangild started the Center for Welfare Assistive Technology in Denmark, a national center for health education. Here, he conceptualized a VR platform that enables learners to practice the use of welfare technology and experience a perspective of being a person with dementia. The platform won the silver award for the world's most innovative learning technology in 2019.

In 2020, Sangild joined VitaSim as a partner, a VR company specializing in peer-to-peer learning of advanced medical procedures in the healthcare sector, drawing on extensive research and research-driven expertise. His involvement reflects a commitment to advancing innovative educational solutions through the integration of research and experiential knowledge.
