PD Dr Dorothea Kaufmann has consistently navigated between distinct spheres – progressing from the confines of the Molecular Biotechnology laboratory after completing my doctoral thesis, transitioning into the academic lecture halls, concurrently poised on the verge of embracing the extensive domain of digital education. It was a relatively incremental advancement from this juncture to a subsequent phase: currently, she holds the position of Head of Telemedicine at the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Traffic Medicine within Heidelberg University Hospital. Within this capacity, she has discovered a significant realization – a solution to extend expertise to even the most remote locations: ARMED. Last year she was a newbie at Shift Medical, this year she is about to share what can be achieved within one year.
