Dennis Steininger is a professor of entrepreneurship and digital transformation at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. He holds a PhD in management and information systems from the University of Mannheim where he is also a research fellow at the Institute for SME and Entrepreneurship and Adjunct Faculty of Mannheim Business School. Before entering academia, he worked as a digital entrepreneur.

His research combines practical and academic interests and focuses on the adoption and success of digital innovations, digital entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. He is Associate Editor of the Information Systems Journal and his work appears in leading international outlets.
