David Sibrina, BA (Hons) M.Sc. from Prague (Czech Republic) stands at the forefront of surgical innovation, leveraging the immense potential of virtual and augmented reality. As the Lead Researcher and Developer for Surgical Planning and Guidance in Virtual and Augmented Reality at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine. Concurrently, he is a Ph.D. student at Durham University's Department of Computer Science, where he delves deep into the integration of VR/AR systems for surgical procedures, particularly within liver and lung surgery, liver and lung transplant, and orthopaedic surgery sectors.

Holding an M.Sc. in Computational Medicine from the University of Sheffield, David's academic foundation is solidly rooted in the intersection of computer science and medicine. At the beginning of his career in medical-tech field he has been well published in several journals. In 2023, he was lauded with a recognition in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list, underscoring his profound impact on surgical planning.
