Mikhail Vaysbukh serves as Senior Vice President, eLearning Solutions, Nursing and Health Education at Elsevier where he leads development of innovative digital learning solutions for health education, including next generation of adaptive eLearning, immersive virtual simulations & assessment solutions that improve educational outcomes and ensure students are both licensure & clinical practice ready. Most recently Mikhail and his team introduced first at scale virtual reality (VR) offering with over 100 patient scenarios for Nursing Education, extending experience of physical lab into immersive virtual reality. 

With more than 20 years of experience driving digital innovation for multinational companies, Mikhail has extensive leadership experience designing and deploying digital products and platforms for healthcare providers and consumers. 

Prior to joining Elsevier in 2018, Mikhail held senior management roles at WebMD and Medscape for 10 years, playing a key role in the transformation of the company’s digital platforms to mobile-first product offerings, which bolstered the company’s growth with Medscape reaching millions of clinicians globally and WebMD consumer network engaging 179 million global monthly users. 

Mikhail holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management & Data Communications from Touro College in New York and resides in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
