Dr Alexander Schellinger is Head of Development Supply and was previously personal advisor to the board of management of Techniker Krankenkasse. At Das Progressive Zentrum he works as a Visiting Fellow in the international relations programme area on the future of the eurozone and social policy in Europe. Previously, he worked for the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs as a consultant for European economy and social policy.

He studied Economics and Political Sciences at the Columbia University and the London School of Economics and received his Ph.D. at the University of Bremen.
