Todd Maddox, Ph.D. is a Learning Scientist at IKONA Health.

His passion is to apply his 25 years of scientific and neuroscientific expertise, gained by managing a large human learning, memory and performance laboratory, to help build better training solutions.

Todd published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles resulting in over 10,000 academic citations. Todd is a prolific learning science speaker, and to date, has been awarded over $10 million in federal grants from the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation, and Department of Defense.

After receiving his Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience, Todd embarked on a 25-year academic research career achieving status as a leader in the fields of human learning, memory, and performance.

Todd is especially interested in applying his optimized training expertise to corporate and leadership training, manufacturing, and healthcare. Todd is fascinated by the potential of immersive technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality for education and training in these and other sectors.
