Thomas is driving the digitisation at the DRK Kreisverband Herford-Stadt e.V. Besides the DRK project Training with VR, his interests and tasks include the development of VR / 360° players and intuitive software applications that allow anyone to produce and publish content in 3D, 180°/360°. His hobby is data protection and data sovereignty of the users on the internet. At present he is pushing the development of blockchain-based and xAPI-capable learning environments and applications. His focus is on digitalized lifelong learning, with the goal of creating documentable and verified learning experiences, learning activities, skills mapping and learning CVs for learners and teachers.
