Professor Dr. Mark Hastenteufel started his professional career at Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) in Heidelberg and followed this path for several years in both different fields of subject and executive positions at Siemens Healthineers.

Having gained more than 20 years of experience in the development and regulatory affairs of medical software, he is currently lecturing medical software engineering as professor at Mannheim University of Applied Science.

As a lecturer, he focuses on software engineering and software as a medical device. Along with this position, he supports and advises companies on development and regulatory affairs for software as a medical device (www.dr-hastenteufel.de).
